Further to Françoise Lange's second part of “Les Dieux De Pierre”, we are absolutely without any provenance for this relic. Françoise Lange can write as many thousands of words and present as many images as he likes – his researches are still null and void.

The very fact that Abbé Saunière placed the “Dalle des Chevaliers” at the foot of his Calvary would suggest that the “relic” was contemporary with the priest. It was most likely as much of a folly as Abbé Saunière's Tour Magdala.
