Another fantastic contribution by Françoise Lange, promoted by the “ever-skeptical” Patrick Mensior – yet again reminding us all that there is a “mystery” at Rennes-le-Château!
Since the sculptured “Knight's Stone” has the “sculpted part on the inside, while the plain part on the outside” (la partie sculptée était à l'intérieur, la partie unie à l'exterieur) – it therefore could even be contemporary with Saunière himself, originally being a plain slab! We don't even know for certain if it was “discovered” at Rennes-le-Château because it was not part of an official archaeological dig! We don't know anything about the PROVENANCE of the so-called “Dalle des Chevaliers”.
Perhaps our erudite historian Françoise Lange could give us all a lengthy article about this artifact, that genuinely does originate from Rennes-le-Château?
