The only Trial Results that apply to Bérenger Saunière that genuinely historically matter are those convened by the Carcassonne Bishopric between 1910-1911. The book by Jacques Riviere, “Le Fabuleux Trésor de Rennes-le-Château: Le Secret de l'Abbé Saunière” (Éditions Bélisane, 1983) is what is truly needed by real historical researchers. It reproduces many primary source documents of the original Ecclesiastical Trial without any of the modern 1956-2026 Fantasies contained.
