Terre de Rhedae: l'association mythique redynamisée à Rennes-le-Château par Cathy Mercier
Terre de Rhedae: The legendary association revitalized in Rennes-le-Château, by Cathy Mercier
Since Covid, the Terre de Rhedae Association, created in 1989 by Antoine Captier and led until 2020 by Christian Doumergue, has changed its management team.
The team of Antoine Captier and Claire Corbu rejected the works of Pierre Plantard and Philippe de Chérisey – and to them the genuine parchment was the one discovered by Abbé Saunière's bellringer, in a wooden baluster. Things changed completely when Christian Doumergue became the Chief of Terre de Rhedae. The figure of Pierre Plantard became of prime importance to Rennes-le-Château and was thrust onto Rennes-le-Château with theories about Jesus Christ obviously influenced by “The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail”, including speculations about the Catholic Circle of Narbonne, etc. Christian Doumergue was certainly a person who liked to dive into controversy.

We are now faced with a new leadership of the Society of the Myth of Abbé Saunière. Let's see what Axel Graisely, Baptiste Six & Merlin Delrieu will produce in the future. One thing's for certain – they cannot afford to base anything on historical facts.
