ADDENDUM NOTES

7 June 2026

The Templar Conspiracy Theories are of course much bigger than this – for example, there are the Templar fantasies of Scott F. Wolter, Donald A. Ruh, Diana J. Muir, David Goudsward etc that also involve the Kensington Runestone! The latest such book appears to be the one by Vicky A. Hild, who died sometime before November 2022. Let's also not forget the Prince Henry Sinclair delusion about his discovery of America. More recently I discovered the existence of a Templar Cross that is reputedly located by The Ottawa House By-the-Sea Museum, Partridge Island, near Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. The Samuel de Champlain Legend, of which local lore states that when French explorer Samuel de Champlain arrived at the Minas Basin in 1607, he discovered a mysterious, moss-covered Iron Cross on Partridge Island. This sparked theories that Europeans had visited long before him. This particular strand of the Templar Delusion requires much knowledge, if you happen to be interested!

Also, and this is an important factor – the whole Scott Wolter genre does not seem to have been published in the French Language (nor in any other language other than English). The world of Scott Wolter seems to be strictly an English Language only Conspiracy Theory.

Scott Wolter's books have primarily been published in English and there is no record of official, widespread French translations for his main publications like “The Hooked X” or “Akhenaten To The Founding Fathers.” While his books are available for purchase in French-speaking countries through platforms like Amazon France, these are generally the original English editions.
