These Saunière Archives were deposited into the Archives de l’Aude by someone who lent them from Antoine Captier and did not return them. Then “Pierre Jarnac” (Michel Vallet) discovered them in the Archives de l’Aude. The information about the archives was then passed on to our friend Patrick Mensior who was conveniently described as the understudy and disciple of “Pierre Jarnac”. Finally the information about them was published by Laurent Buchholzer in 2008. These people can be described as a collection of fundamentalist believers in the non-existent “treasure” of Rennes-le-Château. These archives are not representative of the total archives of Abbé Bérenger Saunière. The believers just love shunning the sceptical books and documentaries about the Abbé Bérenger Saunière “treasure” – and instead just furthering all the rumours and lies of the non-existent “treasure” – as well as hiding the fact that their nonsensical beliefs have always been rejected by the French Ministry of Culture and by DRAC.
