The Real Treasure of Rennes-le-Château

News Flash! A statue of Terry Jones playing the piano in the nude, one of the iconic founders of “Monty Python's Flying Circus”, will soon be unveiled – it was paid for by donations from fans from all over the world.
Five minutes from where I live, a Religious Community Centre, part of the Elim Pentecostal Church, cost just over £400,000. Half of the amount was raised by the church – the other £200,000 was raised by donations from church congregations all over the United Kingdom.
In 19th century France, the Abbé Bérenger Saunière raised money for his dilapidated church in the village of Rennes-le-Château, by trafficking in masses from all over Europe, using the aid of a French Clergyman’s Directory.
What Abbé Bérenger Saunière was doing in 19th century France was no different to what is being done all the time – the request for money being raised by voluntary donations. Not by any “discovery of treasure” or anything else so extravagant (conspiracy theories abound).
Here's what we know so far (click on the Link) about Abbé Saunière's trafficking in masses activities. The rest of the information and documentation (unpublished) lies in the possession of Antoine Captier and Claire Corbu. The activities of the French priest are extremely well-known. There is no “Mystery” and there never has been any “Mystery”. People just need to sober-up.
