Not Inching Away From Pseudo-Babble
6 November 2024
Putting an article online that would do any “Henry Lincoln Forum” very proud, the attempt at trying to get the Abbé Boudet any scholarly recognition just fails. The “jeu d'esprit” of the Abbé Boudet is unworthy of any amount of words anyone can deliver in his favour – he was merely an oddball of a Victorian clergyman with a bee in his bonnet, that's all. “La Vrai Celtique” is merely a Rabelaisian gallimaufry, nothing more than that. Boudet is strictly for dreamers that travel in the realms of gold (sewage).
Still waiting for the French Ministry of Culture to take seriously anything that may be buried in the village of Rennes-les-Bains (but, as we all know, there is no reason for any sober archaeologist to want to do any such thing). Dream on “Rennies” – there is nothing to be found – for taking Boudet’s book seriously is like taking the script of “The Company of Wolves” (1984) seriously.
I wonder if these “Rennie experts” can really name which scholars “continue to be puzzled by the two Rennes” and why people call the faked parchments “alleged fakes”.
