Questions: “Visigothic” Pillar & “Dalle des Chevaliers”

If the “Visigothic” Pillar really “supported” the Main Altar of the church of Rennes-le-Château, where was it stored until Abbé Saunière had a “flash of inspiration” to use it as a plinth to support the statue of the Virgin of Lourdes in 1891?
Likewise, if the “Dalle des Chevaliers” was really a “Carolingian Gravestone discovered underneath the Main Altar” of the church of Rennes-le-Château in 1884-1885, where would that “relic” have been stored until Abbé Saunière had another “flash of inspiration” to use it on the base of the Calvary in 1897?
The 1884-1885 claim was made by Henry Guy in his article, “Reproduction d'un pierre tombale carolingienne découverte à Rennes-le-Château”, Bulletin de la Société d'Etudes Scientifiques de l'Aude, Tome 31, page 197, 1927.
Simple questions that believers in the “mystery” have not even bothered to ask...
