The Big Question About “The Grand Parchment”
7 November 2026
The various “researchers” berate the various “decryptions” of the Grand Parchment by Philippe de Chérisey and point out various mistakes in his various accounts – but but the hilarious thing is that NONE of the “researchers” have offered the ultimate “decryption” that is shared by everybody – each and every researcher has his own method that is completely different from the other – and they all seem to imagine that the “decryption” proves – somehow – that it automatically dates from 1781 and to the death of Marie de Negri d'Ables – when in fact the whole thing could originate from anytime at all – even from 1964 when the “decrypted” message was first given by Philippe de Chérisey – and it is Philippe de Chérisey and him alone who is first documented as being the person who gives that information!
So far we have had the following “specialist researchers”: the French Army Cipher Department (Service du Chiffre) as initially claimed by Gérard de Sède in 1967, Henry Lincoln, Franck Marie, Daniel Dugès, Franck Daffos, John Edwin Wood, Mariano Tomatis, Philippe Duquesnois and Paul Saussez.
