The BASIS of Christianity was original sin. This is why Male Priests were not allowed to marry. Females menstruated and gave birth to children and that's why they were regarded as primary sinners in earliest Christianity, and why they were not allowed to become the priests of Jesus Christ in Roman Catholicism.

The basis of Henry Lincoln’s theory about Jesus Christ was a serious car crash. But what can anyone expect living in a Protestant Country where the Church of England allows priests to marry and reproduce and women to become vicars, priests, bishops and potentially – now – to become the Archbishop of Canterbury? This, to Original Christianity, is nothing but Pure Heresy.

Christianity means nothing in France since the French Revolution when the religion was initially banned and made illegal. That is, until Christianity was restored by Napoleon Bonaparte, but it was still not still sanctioned by the French Republic. All church buildings are owned by the French State. Christians only own the worship found in such buildings.

This of course also applies to the building of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. This is never ever reported on the English Television News – the only reason that the French President of France undertook the restoration of the Cathedral was for cultural reasons. It is a historical monument and is part of French history that attracts tourism to France.

So when Henry Lincoln spouted his utter nonsense about the Jesus Christ Bloodline this only revealed his ignorance: “Is it more plausible that a man should be married and have children, or that he should be born of a virgin, walk on water and rise from the grave?”

The frequent mistake is repeated here that Bernard de Blanquefort of Rennes-le-Château and Bertrand de Blanchefort, sixth Grand Master of the Knights Templar, who came from the Guyenne region of France, were one and the same person! (Started by Gérard de Sède, repeated by Henry Lincoln.)

There have been worse theories about Christianity than Henry Lincoln's Jesus Christ Bloodline Theory. But it is still an example of sheer insanity, akin to all the many thousands of Christian offshoot denominations. For those who administer the role of Roman Catholicism, the very practice of sex for priests is a Cardinal Sin. It really is as simple as that.

The Church of England rejects the virgin birth and that Jesus Christ is the substance within the bread and wine of the Eucharist. But the Church of England still believes in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, that it regards as its central tenet.

The central argument found in “The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail” is no different to saying that Adolf Hitler was circumcised, was a representative of Judaism and practiced what is written in the Talmud.

For the record, I regard sexual abstinence as being totally abhorrent and totally against nature. I am merely expressing the basic tenet of earliest Christianity. The origin of why and how this came about is a tragedy of the human race and is a gross mistake. There is a difference between research and what someone believes. It’s called objectivity.
