The subject matters of Bérenger Saunière, Hiéron du Val d’Or & Grand Occident Masonry have all been touched upon by this website long before Daniel Dugès and Christian Doumerge emerged as authors (celebrated upon by Johan Netchacovitch, our Rennes-le-Château Adventurer).
Hiéron du Val d'Or was mystical Roman Catholicism – and the tradition of Le Grand Occident was originally virulently anti-Semitic in nature, the direct opposite of Le Grand Orient (the regular French anti-Catholic Masonic Movement celebrating Republicanism over the Church). Le Grand Occident was originally founded by Jules Guérin in 1897 and was originally titled La Ligue antisémitique de France before changing its name to Le Grand Occident in 1899.
Both mystical Roman Catholic organisations fit-in with the Roman Catholicism of Abbé Bérenger Saunière except for one small detail: Abbé Saunière was NOT a Roman Catholic Mystic.
All that needs to be done is to look through the extensive archives of both Hiéron du Val d'Or and Grand Occident Masonry (and even those of Louis Claude de Saint Martin) and they won’t find a SINGLE REFERENCE to Rennes-le-Château.
There are those who only PRETEND that Hiéron du Val d’Or and Grand Occident Masonry etc are linked to Abbé Bérenger Saunière BUT THEY CANNOT PROVE A SINGLE THING. Their method of approach is pure bombastic rhetoric and exaggerated hyperbole.
Websites such as this only demonstrate examples of overlapping Christian symbolism relating to different Roman Catholic traditions.
If Abbé Saunière had direct links with Hiéron du Val d’Or & Grand Occident Masonry then so did Bernadette Soubirous.
Abbé Saunière we can easily tell was a Roman Catholic devoted to Bernadette Soubirous.
