The French Press did claim that Pierre Plantard had denied that Roger Patrice Pelat was a Grand Master of the Priory of Sion – but if you go back to the sources – the Plantard 1989 Circular – and to the List of Grand Masters in Vaincre, it is there for all to see – that Roger Patrice Pelat was the Grand Master of the Priory of Sion as claimed by Plantard – and it was on this basis that Plantard became investigated by Judge Thierry Jean-Pierre (Pelat was charged with insider trading scandal). There is a bigger story behind all of this that is quite interesting, but a confidentiality clause prevents me from disclosing this information (the investigative reporter and the informant).
