Bill Putnam identified the text on the Large Parchment as having been copied from the version of the Vulgate by John Wordsworth and Henry J. White, Nouum Testamentum Domini Nostri Iesu Christi latine secundum sancti Hieronymi (Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1889-1954). A copy of this book exists in the Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris.

Bill Putnam also organised tours to Rennes-le-Château and arranged educational courses and conferences on the subject matter.
