Saying that the historical existence of Jesus Christ is parallel to Winston Churchill is no different to saying that the historical existence of Robert Langdon is parallel to Albert Einstein! Or that the historical existence of Samson is parallel to that of Hulk Hogan! Or that the historical existence of Charles Foster Kane is parallel to Rupert Murdoch!

It may also be said as a result, that the Mainstream Scholar is parallel to Mr Bean! Don't these University educated people know that Jesus Christ, Robert Langdon, Samson and Charles Foster Kane are products of the imagination – and so thus can be concluded that their brains could be parallel with Forrest Gump.

The previous examples may be easily compared to the fantasy treasure discovered by the Abbé Bérenger Saunière, with the discovery of the Ark of the Covenant by Indiana Jones! Fortunately, there are no serious scholars who take either of the aforementioned “treasures” seriously. (Except of course by haphazard webmasters and Podcast hosts.)

Such fables that capture the imagination only demonstrate how palpable the personality of Humanity can be – never mind guilty and culpable of utter stupidity!

Just to remind people, the sacrament existed before the so-called “historical” Jesus Christ.

At least the average person who reads Superman, Batman or Spiderman Comics knows they are fantasy well in advance – and does not expect them to be anything else!
