I have encountered such people that ridicule the link between Drugs and Christianity as something rubbish and insist that Jesus Christ really existed. But that can only be achieved by trusting that the Gospels existed BEFORE the Sacraments. Their Jesus of Nazareth position is totally erroneous. How did churches and congregations begin to exist in the first place – we have all heard the stories about an extreme minority of people who become anaesthetised before an operation and experience a Near-Death Experience.
