The conclusion given below is clearly wrong about the Priory of Sion claiming to be “a secret order guarding the bloodline of Christ” since its founder, Pierre Plantard rubbished this on a French radio programme on 18 February 1982 here and distanced himself away from the Jesus Bloodline in a new series of Vaincre reproduced here. In his latest series of Vaincre 1989-1990 he claimed that Otto von Habsburg was the true direct lineal descendant of the Merovingian King Dagobert II, which gives us Plantard’s Christian thinking during the late 1980s (Pierre Plantard de SAINT-CLAIR, “Le Mythe Merovingien”, pages 1-3, Vaincre Number 1, 2 April 1990). It should be emphasised that Pierre Plantard rejected the Jesus Bloodline because he was a Christian. Otto von Habsburg's vision of a Christian Europe was a unified continent built on shared Judeo-Christian values, preserving national diversity within a common spiritual and cultural heritage, contrasting sharply with secularism, communism, and extreme nationalism. He saw this as essential for liberty and human dignity, advocating for trans-national collaboration, Christian democracy, and the inclusion of Central/Eastern European nations, viewing faith as Europe's moral compass for addressing modern challenges.
