Pierre Plantard, “Gisors et son secret... ”
Deposition date in Bibliothèque Nationale: 15 December 1961.
“Gisors et son secret... ” by Pierre Plantard, although containing old-fashioned cliches of esoterica, is vitally important for several reasons – it shows that Plantard had no knowledge of Rennes-le-Château in 1961. It does not have any of Plantard's Merovingian Genealogies, he does not claim to be a direct Merovingian descendant. It also shows Plantard using the same stencil-kit that he used for the later “Dossiers Secrets” (1967) – in the genealogy “Genealogie des Seigneurs de Gisors et St Clair”.
And on page 26 there exists the first reference in a footnote, in passing, to “Prieuré de Sion”.
This document is the proof that all the popular nutshells people still take seriously in 2023 did not exist in 1961.
An abridged version of the document is found in Gérard de Sède's book, “Les Templiers sont parmi nous, ou, L'Enigme de Gisors” (Paris: René Julliard 1962).
