The correct reference should be to 19th century neo-Gnostics and not to “Gnostic” – and Louis Martin was not representing the whole of Freemasonry when he was giving his own personal views about Jesus Christ – so the reference to “Freemasonic groups” is also an error.

Louis Martin and Louis-Sophrone Fugairon both had different takes on Christianity – and both had different reasons why they rejected mainstream Christianity.
