Another example of Abbé Henri Boudet never referring to mysteries concerns the legend of l’Hermitage, a ruin situated near Rennes-les-Bains, built by a hermit who was a former Egyptian soldier, who settled there bringing with him the science and secrets of the Pharoahs.

This is something else that Abbé Henri Boudet omitted from his writings.

The story is found on page 534 in M. Adolphe de Chesnel, Dictionnaire de Géologie, suivi d’Esquisses Géologiques et Géographiques (edited by Abbé Jacques-Paul Migne, Paris: Ateliers Catholiques du Petit-Montrouge, 1849).
