Rest In Peace
Louis Vazart, 1957-20 August 2005

Louis Vazart
-Abrégé de l'Histoire des Francs: Les Gouvernants et Rois de la France (dedicated to “Henri, comte de Lénoncourt” [1891-1978], called “Henri Lobineau”, Suresnes, self-published, 1978)

The first part is dedicated to Comté de Henri de Lénoncourt; the second part is a modified version of Anne-Léa Hisler’s 1965 document, Rois et Gouvernants de la France

Vazart’s Abrégé de l’Histoire des Francs was published on 21 September – on that date in 1792 the Legislative Assembly voted for the abolition of the French Monarchy and established the First Republic – therefore it would have been symbolical for the French Monarchy to have been restored on the same date

Louis Vazart
-Dagobert II et le mystère de la cité royale de Stenay (afterword by Philippe, Marquis de Chérisey, includes appendix: ‘Abrégé de l'histoire du roy Dagobert II’ from L'Histoire fidèle de Saint Sigisbert by R. P. Vincent, Nancy: R. Charlot et F. Deschamps, 1702; Suresnes, self-published 1983)

Dagobert II et le mystère de la cité royale de Stenay contains reproductions of two documents relating to the parchments allegedly discovered by Bérenger Saunière in Rennes-le-Château in 1891

Etudes Merovingiennes, the journal of the Cercle Saint-Dagobert II, first published in 1984

It is reported that towards the end of his life Louis Vazart disowned his books and tried to destroy as many copies of them as possible

Louis Vazart died on 20 August 2005, just before a meeting of the Cercle Saint-Dagobert II in Stenay
