THE REVOLUTION
- The tone is no longer that of a beautiful
dream
- When, everywhere, they are arising.
- Listen, my friends, to what is happening.
- Look out above all to see if anyone is
trespassing
-
- And if they are, make sure you have ready
- All your treasures, all your packages
- Since a donkey, or better still an
aeroplane
- Will certainly make sure that you escape.
-
- If all that money is weighing you down too
much
- Then in the Mountain there are holes up
high
- That will hide them like a banker would.
- Envy, get away from my chequebook!
-
- Nature is there, the revolution is
finished.
- Next time you won't be so gullible!
- Peace at last, the futile pleasures have
returned.
- Ah! But our money! What has become of it?
-
- Paper, metal, is it really that precious?
- More precious than one's family and the
smiling of the heavens?
