The Believer's websites are all wrong and full of false information – their websites would simply not exist at all if they adhered to the facts. Like for example mentioning Abbé Saunière's Trial 1910-1911 and Abbé Saunière's journals, diaries, correspondence and account books.

The source of the Large Parchment was discovered by Bill Putnam as having been copied from the version of the Vulgate by John Wordsworth and Henry J. White, Nouum Testamentum Domini Nostri Iesu Christi latine secundum sancti Hieronymi (Oxford: Clarendon Press, 1889-1954). A copy of this book exists in the Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris.

Of course, Bill Putnam died a few years ago and is therefore unable to counter any claims to the contrary regarding the source of the Large Parchment.

The Codex Brixianus is not the true source of the Large Parchment, but the modern Vulgate by John Wordsworth and Henry J, White who used numerous sources for their version of the Vulgate – one of which would have been the Codex Brixianus. It is not that difficult to understand, but Believers do get the simplest things wrong.

HERE is the source of the text as found on the Large Parchment taken from Wordsworth and White (references to Codex Brixianus are found on pages viii, xxix, xxx, xxxi, 41, 189, 307, 507, 653, 654, 656, 657, 659, 661).

The article below referenced on face-value an article by a well-known French “researcher” who is a believer in Rennes-le-Château mysteries. It merely represents yet another cryptic exercise in typical obfuscation. Wouldn't it have been useful to put these amateur theories about the “parchments” to the critical test by contacting an academic? (It's called peer review.) Let's not forget that the idea of the “parchments” by Pierre Plantard & Philippe de Chérisey were initially planned by them because of the popularity – at the time – of The Dead Sea Scrolls.

As we have all witnessed, the subject matter of Rennes-le-Château has now become a vortex of dementia and insanity where the simplest of mistakes are made and literally any stupid nonsense is seriously believed in.
